I was almost going to hijack a thread and decided to behave myself.
Replaced my HID headlights (courtesy BigMerle -- I like amber with Ming Blue; old ones to be sold), I added spacers to accommodate new pads in front (therefore did back as well -- 5mm), went with black enamel on calipers, and Zimmerman rotors. AND the vibration that was driving me f#<&!+g nuts is fixed (heat shield by downpipes)! Now the car sounds like it should.

I did the wetsand last year -- much improved (not like new, but much better); I also put in brand new Hella bulbs until I could find amber set. Prefer the ambers for my color car, and leveler tab on one needs to be replaced. (Will sell them now on ebay if a couple AZers that might be interested decide to pass on them.)

Sam "bedded" them and I've been babying them for break-in. But this week I'll give them a more strenuous test, for sure.

Thanks. Not sure about "only" 5mm but I think I notice difference. We agree on ambers. And we definitely agree on need for "real" photoshoot. If my daughter would make up her mind on if/when she needs me, doesn't need me, to show up at her place.... (Imagine that, an indecisive 21 year old!)

Great job, Spacers make a big difference. Looks much different IMO, can really tell. Agree with you on clear corner as well. Man your car looks just like mine from the front with that Passat grille :)

Yeah, ever since Oldsmobile first came out with 'em -- a competitive advantage even Packard ended up copying. Plus it's nice contrast with Ming. But not good with beige, silver, red, for example.
