Hey guys,

So I have a Beige 2000 A6 and was wondering what type of rims or colors would make my A6 unique? Now, I don't want to drop hundreds of dollars to get some sweet rims. I was just wondering what you guys would do with a gold colored car? Here is a horrible picture I took of my car (musta been on crack or something when I took it). I know its only half the car but I think you can get a general idea of what the car looks like. Since I am at school and my car is at home I can't show you guys another picture till next weekend. Sorry.

So whats a good classic look for a gold car? I know of only one other person on this forum who has a gold car and he has sick black rims. Do you think painting the rims back would make it unique but still hold that classy audi look?

Thanks a lot guys, I know you've probably seen a million of these threads.

Really? Wouldn't that look kinda tacky? Most gold rims I've seen are not even close to the color of my car.

If you paint those black, they're going to end up looking like steelies, IMO. I say if you're going to paint them, go for something like a gunmetal. If you do decide to get an entirely new set of wheels, you should check the classifieds as there are some nice cheap sets in there.

True. Well painting them is a lot cheaper then buying a new set. Do you think the gunmetal would compliment the gold nicely?

Ya I had a feeling they would look like crap. Might as well save up for some new shoes. [:p] I was thinkin about buying those V710 18" from one of the dealers here on AZ. Maybe I can get them used from someone this summer.

I've been in the same dilemma as you. I've come to the conclusion, that a gunmetal/anthracite colored wheel would look the best. Other than that, I was just planning on diff wheels but painted silver kinda like the stocks.
