Hi there,
My transmission has a more than average delay in engaging to "D" after "R". I took it to the dealer and they said that yes there is a delay in the gear engaging, but there is nothing they can do, it is age. Dealer says unless there is a code they can not contact the warranty company. My car is a 02 2.7t and has 109000 miles. Not frequently but a few times the trans has also jumped. Any input, any suggestions, or anyone else who may have dealt with warranty companies on this before, any help will be appreciated. The transmission is currently under after market warranty. My warranty is expiring in 2000 miles. It'd suck if that "code" came the day after warranty expired.
Thanks!
