i know its a shame...is it possible to buy one in the U.S. and import it to canada?

yes.... still have to pay duty and all that. My brothers car is from the U.S.
I saw one in the underground parking lot at the Hilton in T.O..... wanted to take a peak buy the ladiies in the car just wouldn't understand.... "it's just a Golf?!" [rolleyes] ... - yeah, a pimp arse golf!
