not sure what sort of riding you do - but I have a Sun Rhyno-lite wheel set with XT disc hubs.
Rhyno-lites are more of a heavy duty wheel. They can take a great beating (this set was XC ridden - not beaten), but don't weigh much for their class. Some heavier riders use them for XC riding as they will hold up better than an XC wheel, but they are heavier than an XC wheel and may feel a little harder to push.
If your wheels are lookin rough - why not upgrade!
EDIT: those XT hubs are beautiful pieces! I don't use these anymore because I purchased a very light race wheel set for racing. I can't use them on my other bikes because I run 20mm axles and this set is for QR or the standard Quick Release.
New I paid $380 for the set.
