View Full Version : Is a Quad Tip valence too ghetto?

I saw someone else's car on the board with a Kerscher body kit and I checked out Lltek's web page and saw this quad tip rear diffuser. Is it too much?

The other thought is who does a quad tip exhaust? LLTEK said they had one and they are currently doing some design changes and it should be available again soon (only cat back though).

Yes, way too ghetto. Don't touch anything from LLtek. All their stuff is rice/ghetto.

I just like their rear valence. Maybe not the quad tip, but even their dual looks a little better than Oettinger's rear. I am going to do Oettinger everywhere else, just trying to figure out the back.

sorta liked the single tip valence. all the good bumpers out there are 2-piece for the A4.. but then again, people tell me this LLtek piece is cheesy looking in person. so i dunno

the look is too overstated in IMO. maybe thats why it has a tendancy to look 'ricey/ghetto'. I think the A4/S4 should be kept clean and simple, like an austere contemporary art museum in germany...but thats just one opinion! ha!

I think if you stick your hand over those god aweful tails the quad look is ok.

Yeah, I think I saw those taillights on a Neon yesterday.

ABT rear is much cleaner and classier. The best looking rear valence for B6s IMHO:

Agreed--how much did you pay. What kind of exhaust did you use to get the dual tips?

Dude, your sig video is hilarious.

Would I have to buy an A4 bumper and the valence?

That's actually not my car. I have a B5 S4, but *if* I had a B6, I would definitely get an ABT rear. I heard its plug n play on all B6s. I believe the ABT exhaust for B6s is quad-tip as well.

To be honest that LLtek rear looks much better than the ABT because the LLtek version is more finished off and refined.

It actually looks much cleaner to me than the ABT and I think it definitely looks more aggressive and meaner.

On S4, would be awesome and would sound even better!

To each, his own. Might as well get those hideous Altezza-style taillights to put the icing on the cake. [rolleyes]

Thats a completely different story with the goofy lights. The LLtek rear looks very similar to an M3, so why would anyone say it looks ghetto on a Audi.

With the standard Audi tailights, my opinion is that it would look great but as another said, if you like it, go for it. Illusive should stay illusive!

I think it looks quite good, I just reckon that it needs different tips and obviously it needs to loose those ugly excuses for taillights...

So are you gonna get it or not?

i like it a lot ar. a small hint of AMG looks. i don't think the tail light is really THAT bad, but i'd prefer the stock ones........

One thing tho, i find that if u do that exhaust, u'll definitely need the lid & roof spoilers to compliment it, or else it's really ghetto & looks too overdone. But of course then, u'll need a front to compliment the back...........& on & on & on........................

I'm thinking Oettinger front and side, but then something a little different for the back--Oettinger's is a little too plain for me (and I don't want to have to buy an A4 bumper). It's hard to tell what this rear diffuser would look like in person---also, I am concerned there isn't a good exhaust system out there with the dual tip mufflers.

the quad tips are not too bad it works on M5's ..but what is Ghetto, those UGLY GD TAIL LIGHTS

quad tip is pretty cool, its like a german muscle car. throw some 19x11s (or something wide as hell) on there and dump it. that would be sick

I think you have to have the Eurospec bumper to make the ABT rear valence fit as just plug and play. I don't have an S4, but I know that its a direct swap for people with an Ultrasport rear bumper.

THe LLTek would look nice if the rear lights on that car wasn't so ghetto. Otherwise, LLTek is nice. ABT is much more subtle. I don't think the ABT exhaust is worth it though. I wonder how most people do their quad exhaust set-ups.

They probably have it custom made, either with quads straight from the mufflers, or with a Y type tip that starts as one but goes into two tips...

Any good muffler/exhaust shop should be able to do it for you...

looks ghetto imo

unless you've got a fast car with mad engine mods, then these visual enhancement things are retarded imo.

its like having quad tips and spoiler for downforce on a geo metro. not cool.
