Hello, just got our 09 3.6 S-Line and super excited....I'm relegated to driving to run errands since this will primarily be her car...waaa....Anyway, looking to ask the group about two things:

1) Anyone find any good cargo area mats? I've seen the molded carpeted ones and those look like the best bet for now unless anyone else has a bad experience with them. We have two dogs that don't travel with us everywhere but are still part of the family and they shed so we want to lay something down back there but really not looking to take one of those big ones out each time I want to use the third row either....

2) Rook racks. Anyone try Thule or Yakima? Basically outside of the Audi cross bar racks?

Thanks in advance!

Thule seems to be the choice for alot of AZ'ers.

We also have 2 dogs that go everywhere with us, and constantly have the third row up and down, so we went with this one. It's great because it can stay in the car, and fold up and down with the seats unlike the other mats. Highly recommend.

We also have the Audi crossbars and have been really happy with them.

Thanks GuzziVix! Those are the mats I was looking at but was more curious about the quality of those but it sounds as if they are good to go....

they are carpeted with a rubber/plastic backing, with a molded edge. Very good quality, and a perfect fit. Don't waste your time with the others! I would also highly recommend the "Q7" all weather floor mats for the front and second rows. very nice, and we just leave them in all year round.

Thanks again....yeah we got the all weather mats with the Q7 so I knew those would come in handy....I ordered the cargo mats BTW...on ebay.....good stuff.

Both Thule & Yakima don't list fitments for their crossbars. For the most part, you're stuck with OE Audi (made by Thule).

That being said, Yakima did recently introduce the Rail Grab for these types of rails. It may work, but not yet reflected on their website (call Yakima)
