I'll be done with school in December and will finally be going into the normal working world.
I have a:
Business AA
Psych BS
Personnel and Human Resource Management Certificate
I have very strong computer (Type 60 wpm) and people skills.
I figure I should start looking now to line something up.
Thanks for any help,
Josh

I'm pretty sure McDonalds is always highering
On a serious note, I'm pretty sure there is an opening at my work, but all we do is keep gardens looking nice. Oh yeah you have to be mexican too.

I'd suggest you go become an army of one and learn a trade(just kidding, the Air Force is safer)...
How's your search going on Monster, Hotjobs, Etc???
You may also get some professional help with the resume. That's where you get your foot in for an interview. A poorly done resume kills a lot of those who are qualified but never get a phone call. I sent out about 300 resume's from May to October and got replies back on two of them...One said I made the final group but didn't get the job and the other got me a the job I have now. Remember, a degree is not the "magic bullet" to make you stand out, it's everything like work skills, personality, how well you adapt to change.

If you have a desire to be in the public sector, SSA is a great place to start. Lots of opportunity.

Yeah you are right... my College didn't help. All my other skills did though.

I have decided to revive this thread since I took my last final on Wednesday.
