I've been talking with my local shop, GMP Performance in Charlotte, and they can get (although aren't a dealer for) GIAC. They push APR pretty well. Danny (who is great, by the way) told me of a new chip they have from APR that is on intro special for $595 that has ALL of the programs (93, race gas, stock, valet, kill, even throttle body realign) and works through your cruise control stalk... so no need for a flashloader. That sounds really cool. He said it was making solid, strong power across the band (they all say that.. I know). I forget what the peak gain was. I think he said 20hp or something. Anyways, I'm thinking about that... and doing the APR full exhaust at the same time. I read that the GIAC chip was tuned with the Milltek... which is great. And obviously APR tuned theirs with their exhaust. I'm just wondering how much synergy you can get here. Also... bluntly... is APR cool? I mean.. I'm getting some mixed reactions. But it seems like the stuff is pretty good. The exhaust (IMO) looks better than the Milltek, cause it's fully polished. Don't know. What do you guys think?
