Hi there. I recently came across one Milltek Exhast for sell.
It is for the Tip Quttrao version which did not come with downpipe,
and my car is a 6-speed Quattro.
I am wondering if I can use my stock downpipe and will it be a directly bolt-on?
If not, any other modification needed?
TIA!

the stock downpipe is SEVERELY restrictive. Dont spend money on an exhaust and then not follow through with a correct downpipe.

Buying a used exhaust is always kind of sketchy to begin with, imo. I'd buy something that you know is going to fit and operate properly from the get go, or if you're trying to save some coin, just keep an eye out in the classifieds. There's always a few people trying to turn their cars back to stock because their leases are up.[up]

Thanks for the advices!
I know it would be better with a downpipe coming with it.
However, currently I could only find that deal around my area.
I am still looking for the answer if it would fit my car.
Or it will not fit unless I get the proper downpipe.
Thanks again.

aftermarket downpipe is 2.5'' compared to 2.125'' oem. the oem one is not restrictive. changing to a bigger one will mean more hp up top at a sacrifice of torque down low.

Hi Red, do you know if tiptronic cars have the same 2.125" downpipe or are they even smaller?

i BELIEVE the tip cars have the same 2.125 size but are shaped differently cuz of the transmission taking up space down there.

You loose torque in the low rpms with a larger dp? Why?
