Im looking for a new radar for my 09 a4, which one would you all go with? I have owned escorts in the past and have had pretty good experience, but some people think the Valentine is the best out.

Yeah, like they said, it's been covered a lot.
BUT.. here's some helpful info from a group of unbiased people.

The v1 is the best for detecting radar as of this date.. but that doesn't mean others don't give you plenty of warning with ample time to slow down. So if sensitivity isn't a huge factor, then you'd be better off comparing features. Where for me, sensitivity is a big factor and the arrows are a great touch. The gps system in the new escort is awesome, but not enough for me to buy the escort, but for some people it's plenty of reason. So do your own research and figure out whats best for you.

I've got a V1 and it's saved my a$$ sooo many times. The one time I did get a ticket, I had forgotten to turn it on![mad]

Where did you buy? Cost $?$?$?$
I have a K40 built into the RS4 + MINI that has extra features but am thinking of just getting a V1 for the A4

$399 from valentine1.com - that's where I got mine
other sites sell for $499...strange

As channad said, I bought mine direct from ValentineOne.com for about $400 plus the concealed display, which I still need to figure out the best place to mount in the A4. I've never used any other type of detector so I can't comment on how it compares. I just like how the arrows on the V1 show you where the radar is coming from and how many signals.
