Hey guyz n gals,

I am looking to have my windows tinted and to have a small powered infinity subwoofer installed.

Do any of you know really good places either in San Francisco, Stockton, or Sacramento that really do a good job.

I want some place that takes their time . will make sure things are squarely where they should be or where i ask them to be. In general some place that when they screw something in they take the time to know where they are screwing and that they don't strip the screw heads ...

Just quality and experience with nice cars.

Any thoughts

got my windows tinted by art at silicon valley auto glass in san jose. i take all my cars there b/c he bakes on the tint and i can roll down my windows once i pick up the car. he also cuts the tint to the edge of the window. 408-225-4404, tell him that patrick sent you in!

OH sorry didnt realize you asked me a question.

I am not really sure right off hand the darkness rating of the tint im gonna get (still havn't done it)

All i know is that when i was at a place in stockton .. the tint i wanted was 'illegal'.

I was thinking that i would get the side windows dark (not blacked out) but dark and the rear window would be a shade lighter .. after all they were made for seeing thorugh ... and when i want to complete the darkness i can just raise the rear shade .. (i love that thing .. such a novelty)

I love putting it up when some one pulls too close behind me .. with their pick up trick and headlights on .. (even though the mirrors dim) .. it is more of a message that most people seem to get .. "back off, you can't force me faster by being an A$$hole" *smile* i guess the shade save me the money i would have spent to install a rear mounted High intensity light and switch ..

I was just up north and there is a company called California Clear Bra that does custom tint work. They do a kick ass job, and even will put custom logos in the tint, like 4 rings etc.. I dont have the contact info, but I beleive they said they worked out of the South Bay.

thanks!

For mods, I would recommend Topline, VIP, and CARLAB north america..
