A6 05' new 6 spd auto is wonderful

I have done almost 500km in my new A6 3.0 TDI and the first thing I noticed was the smooth of the new 6spd auto box.

In acceleration we don't notice the gear change and when we put the accelerator down is so quick on changing gears...

Other thing, with the gear change controls we can change gears all the time, even in D mode.

The smootheness/performance in the 3.0 TDI its wonderful.

yes i know exactly what you're talking about! when i test drove the A6 4.2 w/ the 6spd tip it was very very smooth and the fact that you can upshift and more importantly downshift at a flick of the paddle is a nice surprise!
