MAC/ACNA

MAC/ACNA organizers have made arrangements with Xotic Motorsports of Cochranville PA to host the fall MAC/ACNA Dyno Day on Sat Nov 20th.
Cochranville, is about halfway between Philly and Lancaster near the MD and DE borders.
If you've ever wondered what your car will put down to the wheels in terms of horsepower and torque, or just want to see what a dyno is all about, than this event is for you. If you've missed the previous dyno day, or wish to re-dyno your car, then join in and see how a modern dynamometer operates and get the opportunity to witness your car and fellow members cars spin the rollers at Xotic Motorsports Dyno Day.
Xotic Motorsports is a high performance car tuner. They cater to all kinds of vehicles including American muscle cars, Japanese imports, and of course - Audi's. They even do roll cage fabrication for street and race applications right on the premises. Xotic is only the 2nd facility in our entire region that possesses and operates their own AWD dynomometer. They use a modern state of the art in-ground dynomometer built by DynoJet. DynoJet is the world's most well known and respected dynomometer company. This dyno can support FWD, RWD, and AWD with a sophisticated control that moves the rollers automatically to adjust for the drivetrain configuration and chassis length. In addition to being able to provide a measurement of torque and horsepower to the wheels, Xotic also uses a wide-band O2 sensor instrument that is inserted into the tailpipe during the dynamometer test. This sophisticated (high resolution) electronic oxygen sensor measures the level of oxygen and uncombusted (raw) fuel remaining in the exhaust system. This in turn will indicate whether your engine is running rich or lean or stoichiometric. This is vital for fine tuning your engine for maximum performance as well as safety and emissions. Xotic will not only provide graphing results of torque and horsepower, but will also include the O2 sensor output for the entire duration of the run at all RPM levels. This alone separates Xotic from many other dyno facilities that only include torque and horsepower figures without any regards to actual fueling information.
The MAC/ACNA Dyno Day event is planned for Saturday, November 20th from 9am to 12:00 noon. Each member will receive 4 pulls on the dyno including use of the wide-band O2 sensor. We will need a firm headcount in order to satisfy our planning and logistics for this event. The cost to members is only $50 for 4 AWD pulls. If you are interested in running your car on the dyno, please contact Alex Green via email at agreen@ikon.com for registration.
If you wish to make your payment via PayPal - you can. PayPal is a secure electronic transaction that gets billed back to your bank account or credit card. PayPal is free to use to send a payment, however, PayPal charges the recipient $1.50 in order to make a withdrawal. So, if you wish to make your payment via PayPal, please send $51.50 to agreen@ikon.com via PayPal. You will receive a confirmation of payment from PayPal and Alex via e-mail.
Your payment must be received no later than Friday, November 12th in order to satisfy Xotic's reservation of the dyno for our club use throughout the day. You can also visit Xotic Motorsports on the web at xoticmotorsports.com.
