i really hope that the US version has the pop up bootlid...nothing i read in the specs page that mentions this unless it's considered "standard"

beautiful car. what kind of mileage do you get with the TDI?
and that was a tip? it looks like a manual shifter.
i also like the ignition key placement on the dash instead of the column.

I think it´s about it.. Gaiex, nice car !!
I´ll post pics as soon as I receive mine.. (not on the day.. of couse I´ll be too busy trying it :P :))

Thanks... can´t wait to receive it.. :D Just saw your 2.4 Swedie, it looks great ! I already saw thoses wheels live here in Portugal and they defenitly look much better than in photos.. One thing I noticed in your A6 is the monocromatic screen.. I think Audi should have putten colour screens in all A6´s, or at least, monocromatic screens with the same size as the colour screens, like BMW does with the 5 series..

True about the screen, but i didn't see the importans of the color screen more than it costs more money. I'm only using the screen for music navigation.
But sure it looks much better then the mono screen.

yeah, you´re right at that.. mine will also mainly be used for radio, but Audi should have putten the colour from stock.. but hey, we can´t ask much more from them.. the A6 brings a lot from stock (3.0 and above) and the quality is far better than the 5 series.. I sat in the A6 and I simply loved it..

More and more A6 drivers, and European ones at that! Lovely...international stuff rules! [:)]
But wait, the screen in the A6 isn't a color one? That's...interesting. I thought it was. Is it only the A8 that gets the color screen? I think the B7 A4/S4 will be getting one, too, so why not the A6? [confused]
AudiWiz - you'll definitely have to keep us informed about your A6 and put up pics when it gets here! Nós esperamos também a chegada de seu carro novo [:D]

De onde é que é Imperial ?? The A6 brings the colour screen if you choose the nav or the colour MMI.. other than that, it only brings a moocromatic screen, like the one in swedie´s A6.. Quanto ás fotos, mal ele chegue ponho-as logo aqui ! :D

Ahhh, I didn't know that. I thought they'd all be color screens. I think that since we're only getting the 3.2 and 4.2 models here in the US/Canada, they'll all have color screens. Our access to the A6 models is limited at best, unfortunately.
AudiWiz - sou americano, mas um americano internacional [:D]

Ah, está bem ! acho que fez muito bem em aprender português :D.. It would be bad for you guys there in the US to have only the 3.2 and 4.2 available if you had the gas prices we have here in Portugal/Europe.. since you don´t, it´s not that bad to have only the 3.2 and the 4.2, I think..

Muito obrigado! Mas estou aprendendo ainda o português. Eu falo o espanhol e o italiano e trabalho agora com uma mulher brasileira. Ela está ensinando-me o português e nós falamos muito...eu gosto muito de falar o português [:)]
Yes, it wouldn't be too good for us to have only the 3.2 and 4.2 if we had gas prices comparable to those in Europe, so I guess it's not a bad thing that we get those models, haha [:p]

I got a 2.4.
The gas in Sweden is 10:85kr that's like a 1.7 Dollar that's very mutch if you ask me, one of the reasons why i went with the 2.4.

here in Portugal, Gas costs about $1.4 per liter.. a gallon is about 3.8 litters, if I´m not mistaken.. but this prices are low.. they have already been much higher, about 1.7 per liter, like in Sweden.. it´s really expesinve... :(

Wow, Portuguese gas prices ARE low! I hear that Spain's gas prices are relatively low, as well. Looks like the Iberians have an automotive advantage [:p]
In Germany the average prices I saw were 1.10 Euro/Litre for the lowest-grade gas and I hear it's similar in France as well. That rougly translates to $6.00 USD/gallon...
AudiWiz

no... 1.10 Euros are about $1.5.. here in Portugal Gas costs 1.055 euros, the lowest-grade gas... gas is expensive here, much more than in Spain since we have a lot more taxes.. cars are the same thing.. you guys there at the U.S. get a Cayenne Turbo for $80000 or so.. we here get it for 134000 euros or so, about $183580... REALLY EXPENSIVE :(... The Cayenne V6 would have been "THE CAR" if gas wasn´t so high, as well as the Cayenne´s "drinking" habits :)... But I think I made the best choice by getting the A6..
