Rain!

What a great day! I woke up today and it was raining for the first time in several months. I busted out the S and drove it to work today. Man this car is fun in the rain.

I have the BFG KDW tires on the car. Are these things supposed to be good in the rain or dry only? To be honest I didn't research since I live in the desert. They seemed to work very very well.

I dunno about your tires, but our cars are nasty in the weather. I've been stuck in the snow and rain for the past month or two, and my speed has only ever been limited by my visibility. Its great.

those tires have very aggressive tread depth/pattern so they should be decent in the rain.

now do you have the ones that have that crazy all over pattern, or the more traditional linear ones? the traditional ones look like they'd be decent in wet.

unfortunately those tires while reasonably priced and long lasting as hell....are louder than my snow tires.

Yeah sakimano I have the ones with the crazy all over pattern. The tires are getting louder as I put more miles on them as well...

Why is it this post goes into chatterbox while it's not any further off target than most of the ones in the normal thread? I hate moderation.

you know your car doesnt stop faster in snow, it just accelerates faster....

tell me about it...they should rename it 'The Penalty Box'

I posted a few threads lately that have been shoved around.

Further, when I questioned why advertisers were posting ads in the B6/7 S4/RS4 forum, and not the classifieds, my thread was moved to the Penalty Box!

I can understand if I made a post that says "I'm bored, what do you guys think about chinese food". But when we are talking about our cars and tires that is not "keeping in touch with other owners in an OFF TOPIC sort of way".

I've about had it with the mods... If they had the balls to post a reason each time I think it would beneficial.
