Hello everyone.

I tried to cleanup my drivers side e-brake mechanism, because it has been freezing up.

I sprayed WD-40 and worked it into the lines, when it was above freezing boy, that e-brake handle was smooth! I also sprayed some Tri-Flow lubricant in there also.

I am not 100% sure today, as I purposely left my e-brake engaged last night, and it was about 20 Degrees F.

I was looking for a guide to tell me how to remove that pesky e-brake cable.

Does anyone have this information?

The car is a 2000 TT quattro.

Not sure of the AW TT Mark 1 FAQs has it, but try here:

http://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/1389267.phtml

Ask the AW gang: WAY more tehc data than here at AZ.
