View Full Version : Any other santorins IN the seattle area

Hey, i just picked up my B5 a couple months ago and just now started to buy parts for it. So far i've picked up H&R/Bilsteins, Apr Snub, Forge007, and my Borla V2 is on the way. Coming within the next couple months will hopefully be my Evo intake and Apr Chip. As far as appearance goes, i wanted to hold off on that until i see more santorin pics or actual cars up close to see what i like. That's why i'm asking if there are any other santorin blue audis around the seattle area with some exterior mods or just somebody to give me some ideas on what wheels, bodykit, or other mods looks good with the santorin color. Thanks

There are plent of Santorins out there. Kyle, Thomas, and Clint to name a few. My old A4 was santorin does that count.....?

No body kit. Just Cable and his hacksaw along with the addition of some custom mesh. You know me I am more into power than looks but, some body mods are in order.......might as well do em' yourself.

True =pp hey, 2x i got jumpy revs @ stoplight after driving non stop for 30 mins. Could the 'cable' additional power cause it ?

I'm Seattle-ish santorin. I was in Seattle the other day..WOW there are tons of Audis there, it's heaven. I swear they outnumber Mercedes and BMWs combined. I thought I saw blackknights car at northgate mall but front was different and had the old headlights.

Yeah the lumpy idle is the timing I added. We have been over this before. I can take the tweaks off for you and you will see how you car idles nicely but, is much slower. Believe me if I take the tweaks off you will drive it and ask me to put them right back on. A lumpy idle is a minor sacrafice for what I would call an easy 10-15 whp.
I can make adjustments as you like just ask.....you want more??

=o I'm keeping it, just was thinking if the jumpy rev @ stoplight was the samething , but i do want to know if u have any extra parts laying around in your garage ( still go tthose stock wheels ? )
lumpy idle is good :)) I have plenty of fun w/ the additional top end power!!

i heard they do it over at achtuning or something... i also need to get some vag codes...

BK - I have more parts in my garage than I want to admit. Wheels included....
Shrimper - You need help with DIY clear corners? I have done atleast three sets myself and would be willing to help you by showing you how for free or doing them my self for a humble fee. VAG codes checked and chit chat are always free.
Let me know............

I'm actually not located in Seattle but Mukilteo, just about 15 mins north of seattle. I figured nobody would know where mukilteo is at. Do you seattle guys ever have group meets? Where are some good tint shops around this area? I'm looking to do some metallic llumar tint and a good body shop. I want to paint my lower moldings or my body kit once i figure out which one to get. Thanks

My dad had to go to the Federal Buildign, I think it's on 2nd to get his passport since he lost his passport right before he left for France! I'm a US citizen btw, just stuck in this Canada [mad]. Going back to the US makes me so happy, Canada is really that depressing to me. Hopefully I'll make it down more to seattle and maybe make it to some GTGs once my mods are installed. Should be down sometime this fall to a Seahawks games.

Noticed where Mukiteo is when i went up north to BC this weekend. Donno much bout tint but i heard there r some good ones over in the East side. Yes, we get some gtg and meets, keep u posted when we run one.
