can anyone confirm this. in the engine compartment where the windshield washer reservoir and power steering fluid container is....
my b6 A4 had it and my buddy's 2004 S4 has it. no biggie just wanted that "sealed" engine look
From what the Audi dealership told me they stopped giving the covers to the lower " 4 " models for some stupid reason in 2004. The upper end models do get them.

For what it's worth, I took all of that crap off. Needless weight, it just looks nice. Plus it actually will restrict airflow thru the engine bay.

I'm pretty sure you can pick that cover up from the dealer. I don't think it is very expensive either.
There is no battery cover for the A4s anymore. That threw me off.

I don't know the PNs but the install is a snap since it is already made for you car. Shouldn't take more than a minute. Just ask a dealer. They should be able to find you the part no problem.
Some A4 guys have got them to fit in their car. Might want to check in that forum.

Severely doubt it. All new models didn't come with it, not just yours. So, I'm sure it was some sort of cost cutting thing.
A4s stopped getting the battery cover in 2004 which is ridiculous. Looks really funny.
That S4 cover should only be around $40 or so.
