Can someone look at this car for me

There's a car in San Antonio that I'm thinking about buying but I live in Ohio and driving down there for a test drive is kind of out of the question. If someone wouldn't mind stopping out and looking at this car it would be greatly appreciated. Below is the link for the car on autotrader and it gives the information of the dealership. From what I understand, the people at the dealership have no maintainance history for the car and I really want to know if it is worth it. I just came back from checking the car, stupid me forgot the camera, I owe you that one...

Condition is pretty decent for an 01, paint overall is in good shape, especially for a black car in South Texas. Hood has been re-sprayed, they did a good job but if you are an anal SOB like me you should be able to tell. The front bumper cover has a few scratches (as shown on the pics) and there are the usual amount of rock chips. I looked in the engine bay for signs of collision but there weren't any (that I could tell) The engine bay was detailed and looks clean. The interior is not holding as well as it shows in the autotrader pics, the center of the seats (suede) are showing the age of the car... It may be a case of some TLC and they will look better (no tears). The rims have an expected amount of curb rash and it will definitely need tires before long.

The salesman has the car under contract, someone came by today and put a deposit and the sale is suppose to go through tomorrow. I wasn't able to drive it but if the deal falls apart he ask me to come back and take it for test drive (I'll be happy to do so)

The salesman name is Mike Garcia (210) 733-0117 and he is going to call me if the sale doesn't go through. I will definitely have my camera with me if he calls back, I'll keep you posted!

Well crap, I shou8ld have been a little quicker. Thanks a lot for checking it out for me though. If he does call back though a test drive would be very helpful. Hopefully it doesn't go through because that is exactly what I've been looking for.

I called the dealer and the car has not sold yet, they are still holding for the person that gave them the deposit. They ask me to call back on Monday because it will be back on the market if not sold by then... I'll keep checking!

the salesman probably does not really have another customer with a deposit on the car. salesman say those things to make you make a decision faster. they do it so you will think that if you don't act now and buy the car, it will be gone.
