As previously reported, my B6 S4 clutch suddenly (with no warning whatsoever) went out at 5000 miles. I have been driving stick shift cars for 30 years and don't abuse the clutch. When I sold my '95 E36 M3 with 90,000 miles, it still had the original clutch.
It took me a long time to get used to the S4 clutch, which is different from any other car I have driven. The new one feels different than the original, so I have to get used to it again. The S4 has a great engine and is a great all around luxury sports sedan, but the bloom is off the rose for me.
P.S. I guess I'm getting senile, because I forgot I already posted the end of the story on another thread. Now where did I put my teef? [;)]
