I don't have the technical know how for this job nor do I have a garage. If anyone in the N. NJ or NYC area is willing to help me I would compensate you or buy you lunch, dinner, and beer for afterwards.

TIA

I'm ordering the parts this week...pending if someone can help. Otherwise, I'll have to take it to a shop and have them put it together. I'd like to save myself some $$$ by doing it myself. If you have a spot where we could do this I'd gladly come by you.

Search on AW there is a great detailed writeup on the TB change along with pics about 18 pages. It was a huge help to my mechanic.

I've never done one before, but I'm very good at giving direction if you need someone to stand around and tell ppl what to do? Let me know.

Thanks for all the responses. Its nice to know there are people willing to help and fellow AZ'r out.

If this weekend is no good for anyone. I'd gladly change it next weekend. I don't want to pay 600 bucks for some mechanic to have all the fun. I'd rather spend that money on getting new pullies and a snub mount.

I was thinking about that but I've heard mixed review about EFK's, but if I have to take it to a shop I won't be getting anthing else done except the TB.
