Went to Costco on Friday and saw this beauty in the Christmas toy section.

Unfortunately it is yellow and there weren't any in white with crimson interior like my car. So, I decided to embark on a small project since I am still waiting on parts to arrive for my real car (here is a sneak preview, lots of pictures to come in the near future).

I went down to the local Autozone and picked up some paint and clear coat. Luckily I was able to find duplicolor arctic white so it matches my car almost perfectly.
I then went to the craft store and picked up some red paint that would match the color/texture of leather. I also got some painters tape, a few brushes, and an x-acto knife.
Started off by taking off the seats (they just snap off/on) and removing the rear seat belts. Hardest part was taping off all the small areas perfectly, I wasn't able to cover some of the really small details (like the side RS4 emblems, and the door handle keyholes). It took a while but it is important for a nice finished product.

I gave the car a lot of light coats, allowing about ten minutes between each coat. I'd say about 5 or 6 or paint, and then about 3 of the clear coat. Remember to always wear proper eye protection as well as a mask so you don't breathe in any harmful fumes.
Between the coats, I painted the seats; gave them about three coats as well.
After it was all dry I took off all the tape (my only mistake, I should have taken off the tape while the paint was still wet. The paint chipped in a few places, nothing major that couldn't be touched up though.
Here is the finished product.
