^^^ Watkins Glen Time Trial :: Oct. 24 ^^^

Just letting you guys know that I went ahead and signed up for the Time Trial at Watkins Glen w/ EMRA. Gina and I are gonna roll up Sat. morning in time to watch some of the sprint races. So if any of you guys change your mind, let me know so that we can figure out how to meet up.

We aren't quite sure where to stay up that way, I checked all the travel websites, but it's really hard to gauge what's good and what's not. Any suggestions from those of you that have been up there?

Hopefully one of you guys will change your mind.

you will be in the middle of nowhere.... someone at work recommended just going to a bed and breakfast or one of the hotels on the back strip of the glen where its cheaper.

yeah... Gina would LOVE that! I can hear it now "you can spend $170 to go to the track and race your damn stupid car, but you can't drop $100 to put us up in the hotel??!!"

perhaps you have never slept in the back of an Avant... not exactly a serta mattress - track wheels and tools might not be so good on the back.
