How do I get Flik Wheels (edgeracing) to ship to canada?

I remebered a guy named MAX (stealth black TT) had ordered them through edgeracing, but it seems that they don't ship to Canada... so I was just wondering how he could do it.

Any input please?

know anyone that lives right across the border? have it shipped there and go pick them up or have them installed and drive back w/ them thereby evading duties [;)]

That is the one option, and the best at that.

If you can get them shipped, clear customs yourself. You will have go to the airport or something but you will save bigtime on brokerage fees and stuff.

i'm sorry but that's completely illegal... you should ashame of yourself for suggesting such a thing to a fellow member!!! [:p] [;)]

he's pretty much right though... that's what i did for my Justice, got them shipped to Seattle and drove down to pick them up...

but are you sure EdgeRacing doesn't ship to Canada? that sounds a little bit suprising...

anyway to avoid paying UPS?

I ordered a package during the summer...
just a couple days ago, they sent me a bill for the brokerage fees...etc..
*double the cost of the item*

you have to inform them right away that you will arrange for the duty to be paid on your own... then you have to show them proof that it was paid and they will release the item to you.

Can't they declare the value as 0 and consider it a gift? I did that when I bought my DJ headphones and avoided duties

Well...
I asked the seller to declare the value as $20 and send it as a gift...
Unfortunately, he didn't..

The package arrived, and I didn't have to pay anything..
a month later....I get this bill from UPS...
Now I'm pissed....

Gifts can only be up to a value of 40 dollars. It's a way of getting around duty but brokerage can be another thing.

Best is to stay away from UPS, their brokerage fees are high. If you have them send it USPS which comes through Canada Post you can get tracking numbers and everything and brokerage is 5 bucks. Can't beat that.

Whats with all these giant sigs..... anyway, I was charged $180 on my Oettinger grille by UPS which inc. American then Canadian customs. It almost doubled the grille price.

Yeah what's up with them...Avantéix and AMBB6 I like the new sigs but they are way too big. Check out the guidelines for dimensions and stuff: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=16165
