Was wondering if I put the bilstein grooved shocks with my sport suspension, will it lower it a little more? I know people are going to say get aftermarket springs, but I don't want it that low since I go snowboarding and in the snow a lot.

That's exactly what I have on my AVANT. I have it set to the lowest perch and the drop isn't as noticeable compared to changing the springs. I know this post is worthless without pics. The ride has stiffened up a bit.

how much lower is it compared to the stock sport suspension?

Here's mine. Exact setup as you're wanting. Grooved Bilstein's on lowest perch with my stock OEM sport springs. Looks perfect to me. Low but not too low as I go snowboarding many times in the winter. Basically it evens the wheel gap between front and back. Lowers the front maybe a finger or so. Now I have one finger gap in front and back. Hope that helps.

Just so you realize, I am a B6 and you're a B5. I don't know what the setup would look like for your car but I guess it would be the same?

I just e-mailed Neuspeed about that last week. They told me to expect approx. 20mm(3/4") of lowering. I just got new wheels and am looking at a 2" gap up front and would like to get it down to 1".
