If I recall correctly yes. Something was said that you guys had found a set but were not pleased with the quality so you were gonna look elsewhere.
At any rate, are you looking in to something like that?

hi all,
I found one guy on other forum that has LED taillights. He said me that he bought RS6 tailights, and then his mechanic make that lights work under B7 cover, but when I asked him to order one pair for me, he said that he will not do it :)
already 3 guy's did it
2 guy's from spain,also on AZ and a friend off me in Belgium with the white B7
He did it like you side with OEM a6 allroad lights
costed him about 2500€
sorry...that's a lot of money for some led's

^ that's too much money for LEDs. Maybe going to scap/junk yards and looking for a6 avants and allroads would be a better solution. Hmmm.. haha I really want those LEDs.

Don't wait for them to make a taillamp assembly...Just put in LED Light bulbs into the normal harness. It looks really really awesome...so just replace every normal bulb in the taillamps with new led bulbs...the led bulbs usually have 3-5 leds in each "bulb"

wtf, how can this be done? I thought you needed resistor and all kinds of crap for this?

i agree someone with a shop who wants to make alot of money needs to CAD some up and manufacture them ASAP

I think you are correct.
I did this with my Jeep Wrangler, took off the Boat Trailer style, added new LED taillights (52 leds per light), and my blinkers flashed like I have a burnt out tail light, needed a resistor in line, however the upside is they are much brighter and come on as soon as I touch the brake, and that makes a big difference here in So Cal.
But not sure about Audis

I was chatting with a guy from this forum who was offering to make LED lights for me. He wanted me to send him my B7 RS4 headlamps and he would install them for me. I was hesitant to send him my housings because I would have to wait to use my car. Even though he promised them in days. So I asked to just by the parts and that I would find some one local to do the work. And he never got back to me about payment. So, I remain thinking he is a sketchy person. BUT, his LED headlights are awesome looking.
I think his name is Fly300kts
