B7 coming out so soon?

I saw that the B7 A4/S4 will start production in Nov 2004 & arrive @ ~Feb 2005. The B6 is out for only 3 yrs & they already have a new model [confused] . The B5 lasted 6 years................the life span of B6 is REALLY SHORT

The B6 lasted four production years, but it does seem really short. The B7 will be an 06 model and as much as people dislike it right now I think attitudes will change. Pics are just getting better and better of it, I'm looking forward to seeing one first hand.

They are getting a little crazy with their advancing the model year. If they show up in Feb as a 06 that's crazy

Maybe it will be like B6. It will show up almost a model year later on our coast. I still yet to see an 05 A6 in Calgary yet, there is none at the dealershipas well.

I believe it will come to NA as an 05.5 OR they will arrive here mid-year (June/July) as an 06.

Typically, the models arrive 6 months before the actual model year date.

just reading my new issue of European Car their is an artical about A3 with the 2.0 FSI turbo with 10.5:1 commpression sounds nice :)

the engines r on par w/ the new E90......except for the S4, which is significantly less than the prospected new M3

New styles last shorter & shorter. I dun really wanna buy cars nemore....I'll buy 1 this yr & chances r that they'll have a new model the very next yr or the yr after.

The release of the new A4 is Audi's reaction to the impending release of the 3 series. Audi is hoping that by jumping the gun and getting the A4 out before the new 3 is out that Audi's going to win in the market. Pictures aren't doing it for me but reading the reviews it's better in person, similar to my initial reaction to the A6 and seeing it in person a few months ago.

We'll see how it turns out... I'm planning on looking at a 2.0T May next year when my lease ends on my 2001.5 A4.

Maybe its just me but it seems like the Audi A4s are getting less sportier, the B6 i think can be made to be sportier, but the B7 just looks too "dad-ish"

You know what I use to like the B5 better when the B6 first came out, largely because of that two tone bumper. They fixed it up with the USP so it is all good again. [:D]
