I'm currently looking into buying a staggered set up of OZs in 18 x 8 and 18 x 9. Is 9" too wide for the rear? The rear tires are currently 255/35/18s, will this work? Car is currently lowered about 1.75". Thanks!

Depending upon offset, yes a 9" wide rear wheel maybe too wide. And with your car having been lowered, I think it would rub.

with proper offset you will be fine. You can fit 17x10's in the back without any major rubbing problems if the offset is correct...
