Just wanted to say hello to all the Swedes in here. My wife is from Sweden and I had the pleasure of being in Sweden last year for my wedding. Actually the wedding was in Finland (Helsinki) but after we took a road trip from Stockholm to the west coast stopping here and there along the way then into Denmark. Beautiful countries, all of them. Well, if any of you are ever in the States on the east coast, let me know. I am sure my wife would love to have dinner and talk Swedish for a while.

She is from Stockholm, she grew up in Upplands Vasby, her family now lives in Osmo.

Okay, I grew up in Stockholm aswell but in Nacka just east of the city.
How come she moved to the states?
I would move to the us if I could... ;)

It depends on what you are interested in...
Gothenburg is beautiful! Waterfront port city with lots of old houses.
Stockholm is great with it´s large arcepelago(?) and lot´s of water aswell.
If you go up north i would recommend a visit to the Ice hotell outside Jokkasjärvi.

I will actually be back there for Christmas this year, hopefully the snow isn't too bad. You absolutely have to visit Stockholm, it is gorgeous. Gothenburg is also nice, but not even close IMHO. I also think you should take a boat through the arcepelago, very pretty. I also hit this small town, not sure of the name. It is a candycane town, that was kind of cool.

The boats out in the arcepelago is amazing. I grew up in that area of Stockholm and i loved it.
You must mean Gränna. Right by lake Vänern!

I have honestly no idea what people see in that city, ive been there a couple of times and i have only bad memories to carry home. Im not trying to talk badly here im just curious if there is places that i havent seen in there. The city itself is very nice ofcourse but i have been more than badly met when talking to people from Sthlm. And not on only one occassion.
But i guess i shouldnt judge like that im sure im wrong.
Well hope you'll enjoy if im not to late and you've already been here.
