There is a big difference. No cost, no politics, no drama, plus you are around other enthusiasts from Alfa to Zonda. These events are a step above the club events. We plan each event so all you have to do is show up and have fun.

Have you looked at the site and one of the the cities event?

I dont know how your events are in the states but here in australia the $10-15 charge to enter a show and shine isnt exactly bank breaking, there are plenty of large and free areas where loads of car meets are organised a cost is rarely involved...
There are never any politics, occasionally someone will be a dickhead and get busted by the cops but thats the extent of it..
Drama? This isnt an episode of the bold & beautiful, people meet to dyno, track it or go for a drive and have a feed...

The majority of the events down here are combined, VW & Audi, a Skyline Cruise with audis invited, someone from BMW will organise an event and invite some euros... everyone meets everyone.. Plus, we kinda dont really have Zondas on the road down here so they can be counted out... (maybe 5 total)

Correct me if im wrong, im simply pointing out some faults but how could you possibly organise an event in Australia better than someone located INSIDE the country? I just dont know what a local sponsor would think if there was someone from the states calling and emailing them to organise an event thats all...

Yes i have looked at the site and an event, nice cars, no cost for basic things.. but really i cant see the pluses of the situation...

This event is not to compete with the big events. This event is to be a once a month social gathering for everyone. The target audience is not just Zonda level of cars but for all levels.

The point of the matter is we are seeing if anyone there was interested in playing party host to this type of event. It is well organized and structured similar to the events you have there. But the difference is once a month, only 2 hours, and has a organized drive or photoshoot with a lunch stop for those who wish to have a 1/2 day event.

We are nothing like a the shows you mentions everything is informal for those who attend but we use a well organized and structured format to run the event.

We are already talking to some people about the event there. Once we have details we will post them
