0-60 in 5.7

1/4 mile in 14.3 @100mph

They mention the 2.0T having 211 HP and 258 lb.ft of torque, and also that the 2.0T will be available with 6-speed manual.

Finally...a respectable 0-60 and 1/4 mile time for the V6 A4. (Not sure how they did it. +10hp, +0tq, +40lbs...it should be very similar to the B7 3.2 performance.)

2.0T 6M. Glad its coming, albeit not til next spring. The 2.0T power suggests they did a conservative ecu tune to put out more torque, but kept the hp figure low to persuade people to buy the 3.2

Nice. A 3.2 A4 with a Full Exhaust, Flash, and intake can probably get into S4 territory which is nice to see.

the V8 in the S5 is felt completely different that the V6. the V6 is working much harder than the V8, of course this sounds like a stupid statement but you feel the real difference when you are behind the wheel

So glad to see Audi make the performance respectable in their non RS/S models. They have never been able to compete with the likes of the BMW 330. Seems like they have always been behind the other makes sport sedans when it comes to performance. Look at the G35. A sports sedan which is a similar class, but yet has always had better performance then the prior a4 v6's.

However, I don't think that with exhaust and tune you would be close performance wise to the S4 as someone alluded to earlier. [:D]

"The base price of our 3.2 Quattro test car should be about $39,000"

joking... its unbelievable..
hate to say this but it would be better off buying 335 in my opinion...
why are audis more pricier than any others?[=(]
hope 2.0T is not

To me, it seems the 3.2 A4 should start about 2k less than the 3.2 A5. At least that's what I would like to think...

A4 - four doors
A5 - two doors

With a new A4 (B8) having all the same/similar equipment and such to the A5 I'm sure the prices will be comparable, but I would think the A4 would actually cost more, no? That being said, people love the new sexiness of the coupe - and therefore are willing to pay a premium on that.
