Seriously the midwest actually needs quattro because of all the snow we get. There's gotta be more of you out there. California doesn't need quattro so why do they get 2 sections.

Being in Ohio, I've found out that while there are a lot of Audis on the road, there aren't many who would be considered entheusiasts and participate in forums like this or local GTGs.
If there are entheusiasts, then it's not continual involvement. The exception for this would be in the larger metro areas like Chicago, Detroit, and Indy.
Peeps in the mid west are just the quiet type[rolleyes]
But we are here, and I think the Audi Club of Norht America is Headquartered in Wisconsin as well. http://www.audiclubna.org/about/contact.htm Check it out for your self. http://www.quattroclubusa.org/

Hey I was just in Holland last month
If you have not been on the High speed ferry,
You have to try it.
Taking my TT was a bit pricey but it was fun having my car with me

You bet
I think it can be rough this time of the year (it depends on the wind). But there were 20MPH winds the day we went to MI. and That thing ride so high I never felt a wave. We had a few beers, the ride is only 2.5 hours long. Don't do eat if you don't have to, the food sucked. There was room on the back deck for peeps that need smokey treats.
It really beats the heck out of driving around the lake.

This might help, http://www.lake-express.com/?source=google .
I seem to remember it being about $85.00 per person round trip and $120.00 for my TT. it was nice to drive around MI for a day or 2, and not have to go thru IL.

woo.. that is pricy.. I can get flights to madison for $110 - but you are right - anything to not have to drive through chicago.... not to mention Gary IN... ugh... I love to drive mind you... but you have to draw the line somewhere!
You are right and you can rent a pretty nice car for alot less, but some time you just want to have your own wheels under you.
PS nice web site you've got there.

I agree.. I don't know many cars that I could rent for a family trip other than the one I have.. I love my car... thanks for the kudos - it's a work in progress... and needs an update.

Thanks for the invite, unfortunately I gotta work. I am pretty familiar with that area though. I live up in Cuyahoga. What's goin on there on Saturday?
I just found this website not too long ago and I had no idea how many Audi enthusiasts there are out there! [:D] The worst is seeing all the Audi owners in my neighborhood and community who don't appreciate the fine German works of art they drive! [mad]

What part of Ohio are you in? Here in Northeast Ohio, we have monthly GTGs along with other things with local Audi/VW people.
