So my car is in non-runing mode again. Few months back it was the fuel pump and last nite the battery/or alternator died on me at 1:30 am on 101 south like 40 miles away from home. called up my firends but they drunk as always. called 911 and they sent a highway with jumper cables. we jumped the car but it died after 30 seconds so they pushed off the freeway and i left my car on a gas station. damn it. i think my babe is gettin jealous of other females riding in te car...

Bad week for the coupes! Left my lights on after dusk driving (no pinging sound coming from the dash in the older models if you leave yer lights on). Long story short, Tried to jump it with the GTi (I got a battery from a 928 in it!) and it wouldn't take. I'll try charging it up tonight, if not, I'll be needing a new battery soon enough. [:(]
That sux mang. Hope u got it runing by now. I'm picking up my coupe today right after work. It came out that only the belt from the alternator had to be replaced along with other belts cuz they were WAY too loose. w00t! w00t! no more squicki sounds...

I got the Coupe up again yesterday too! Just turned over the first time when I jumped it again with the GTi (love that huge Porsche battery). And it started up again this morning no problem!
I got the squeaky squeakys too. Its gotta be the Alt belt. Hope pep boy's got em in stock! [:p]
Yep, it gets pretty annoying after awhile. cost me $30 to get all the belts replaced. sounds so fresh and so clean now...[:p]
