Brullen. A lot of people went there and liked what they got. Of course I have no affiliation with them!

im kinda liking Brullen, thinking i might just get a muffler and tips for now, and build the system as excess money comes my way

tried that... 8 weeks later and they still couldn't get anything. Ended up with a Brullen with the same specs and $100 bucks cheaper. Plus you're supporting a quality Canadian outfit.

I know it's a bit more expensive for you B6'ers but I would not just put a set of mufflers on. The performance gains will be none if not minimal. Doing it in steps is kinda sketchy because you are building a frankstien exhaust system that may sound like $hit in the end and may even cost you more.
I don't mean to be anal but I'd personally wait a little longer and get a full catback system that has been developed and tested with performance and quiality in mind for my particular application. Such as APR...AWE.....etc. Kinda like upgrading shocks and springs.......

Agreed. Save up for the full catback. you wont regret spending the extra cash on the complete system.

I looked at Remus and all they made was the back section of the exhaust.... no middle and no DP. As someone who just recently priced about a million exhausts I can tell you that $850 is a damn good price if its DP back. I bought my complete Brullen for a grand.

but the 850 was for only the muffler and tips

thats a lot... check LLtek, they sell the Brullen exhausts for some reason cheaper than Brullen.

I have the Brullen which i bought directly from the place in Toronto - it was $900 installed, pretax, for the full system with downpipe. Say that you were referred there by members of the greater toronto audi group - i dont think that exhaust for the b6 should be that much more than the b5 (what i have). the good thing about buying directly from the Brullen (vs LLTek) is that you can customize the look of the exhaust. for example, my tips are angled, and staggered and are hollow 3 inchers, which is different than the standard design they sell to LLtek. also, when i had some minor fitment problems, i just drove to Brullen and they adjusted it free of charge.
