New A4 Sedan in person, Still don't want it

I saw a new B8 sedan on the road today (I love Southern CA) and I swore it was a new BMW at first glance. I usually want the latest and greatest whatever, but I much prefer the B7 exterior especially from the rear.

I whole-heartedly agree with you. The B8 doesn't do it for me. The B7 is WAY better looking IMO, not saying that with bias either.

Yup, anyone that's been on AZ since the B5 was the current platform knows how these things go.

This is my favorite new model rollout to date. Loved it since day one. My least favorite was the B6, but it grew on me as it did everyone else. Such is the circle of life. [>_<]

i like the car just the length is killer its like the size of a full size sedan....who said I wanted a 6ft man in my back seat behind me....other then the size I think its different but I would like one to be different and one of the first in my neck of the woods....

I really like it. It is going to be way more stable in cornering, and has many more performance adjustable options via stock .... however I really can't dig it with out dual sided exhaust on the 2.0T. That will prevent me from buying it. However I think I would rather go A5 or TTS next year anyways.

Give it 6 months and there wont be a person out there who doesnt love it on audizine. I find that the biggest difference will be when they role out the models with some nices wheels and details just like they always do. The first ones out are always really base modelesc. Throw some RS Reps and youll be drooling...Look how much tighter the Q& looks now compared to when it was first released...The only Beemer rip is the smart knob on the console.

I do not like the fact that the new car is larger and the BMW side shot was sickening on the beemer and no better on the A4.
I would like to see a longer wheelbase and LESS overhang on all of there cars.

C'mon people! this day has finally came. B8 is harder, faster, better, stronger. When B7 arrived i was like WTF; they call this the All-new A4 when it was just like a facelift. I like the B6/B7 look ( i have one) but still, its about time for Audi to move on. Think about it, the last generation 3 Series is "better" looking than the current generation, but then again who gives a fuck naw'meen :] cars get outdated easily.

I concur. I remember a couple b6'ers hatin..then next thing you know they are getting a b7 themselves. However, my fav model is still the b6.

I agree. The front of the B8 is fu&*ing hot! I'm sure someone will come up with a different valence or 3 piece spoiler for the rear not to look as bad.

I've seen this car in person (co-worker is an Audi tester, he's been driving it for a week) and I thought it was a 3 series at first glance. Overall it's allot nicer than the bare bones B7 A4. I think it's a step in the right direction, although I still love my B7, and the stock B6 is looking really dated now. But what I'm really waiting for what the B8 RS4 will look like!

Just so you know it does have a longer wide wheelbase with much less over hang than the B7. That is why it handles so much better than the B7s

love the front end, headlights, and mirrors with turn signals, and iterior, can't dig the rear. If they had better tails i would of traded in my 07

i just cant stand the rear end of the B8. its fucking ugly
