Killed a couple ricers today

I am driving home from running errands (had some plants, top soil, other misc. landscape stuff) and I see these clowns cars weeving and going at it on a two lane road (speed limit 40). One was a 2nd gen eclipse, the other a Civic coupe prolly late 90's. Both were dropped with fart cans and thought they were the sh*t.

They get caught up and the Eclipse (non turbo) was first with the Civc behind so I speed up to take the other pole position at the light. Light turns green, had a great launch and ended up about 1/2 car length ahead at 55mph before we shut it down. Bam got another light and the Civic pulls ahead and we are lined up. Another great launch with stability program off and perfect timing of the lights. I beat him by a car length to 55ish.

Haven't done this in a long time, what a rush...

haha as stupid as that sounds. . . it really remind's me of my childish highschool days when my buddy and i would go out in his 72' Chevelle SS and pick on the fart cans.

Hahahaha that rocks! Most satisfying kill I've ever gotten was a Scion xA that thought he was hot stuff for weaving around cars doing about 90 in the left lane on the freeway. I was doing a cool 70 in my dad's Alpina B7, saw that and caught up with a flex of the pinky toe. Then swooped around him and hit 1XX (not telling!) before he even realized what hit him. Then I slowed back down and he pulled a ricer flyby with a major "WTF!?" look on his face. Killed by a grandpa mobile 7 series. Not nearly as good as the minivan, but still bruised his ego. Normally it isn't worth my time, gas money, or safety to even bother with those jackasses though.

Very few suspension tweaks on that xA will send him around a track much faster than a 7 Series could, especially the 7xx Li. However, you are right, 1.8 litres of fury is not a great speed car.
