5. Foothill Expwy: at Magdalena Ave, El Monte Ave, & San Antonio Rd (3)

Damn I go through so many of those intersections on the regular. Don't think I'm much of a red light runner though, I hate that shiz!

So what's a "rat box"?

It got explained in the "other" forum. A rat box is not the same as a traffic camera. The rat box does not issue speeding tickets, its just a tool used by a cop. A regular cop still has to pull you over and write you the citation. The rat-box will shine red, indicating that a car has been flagged as red light running.

Red lighter runners are the second to worst drivers that I can think of and they should carry hefty fines for running a red. The worst drivers are those who DUI. These types of drivers are catastrophically more dangerous than your casual speeder.

in south bay, it's usually mexican drivers in beaters. they swear all the rules of the road are optional.
