i know this is very VARIABLE and dependent but assuming the base a4 1.8t is 170hp ; what "approx" hp can be reached with like a GIAC chip, exhaust, and intake. ( is 250-280 way outta the way or really not that far off to get ) ? Im goin back to the dealership tomorrow to negioate deals on my purchase.

Well a KO4 kit gives you like 240, but that is a new turbo. The chip, exhuat, and intake would put you at like 215 or so. 270 is doable with a PEs T28 kit or an APR stage 3 kit.

thanks for the help, im off to the dealer in a little while to go test drive a couple of cars. ( im goin to do a chip and exhaust , and drive it like that until its too slow then ill probably do a K04 kit and FMIC)

K04 and front mount will be the closest to the #'s but that 270+ is very unatainable with those mods. That amount is way out of the K04 efficiency range
