Haha. Thanks. I drove it this past weekend at Mission Viejo Audi and am completely in love. While it doesn't have the same steering feel as my beloved 335i (all-wheel-drive will do that), the styling and the 4.2L V8 sound can't be beat! I love it and it will be mine. I'm doing the EU delivery too. So excited.

Yeah. Maybe sooner but they said 9 months to get exactly what I want. I'm thinking it will be more like 5-6.

9 months seems a bit extreme for and EU delivery. Audi's usually average 2-3 months. Less if you're going to pick it up an Ingolstadt. Meh. Congrats in advance. 9 months seems more reasonable for an R8

I ordered mine on October 10th in '07, and picked it up January 10th '08. 9 months seems really out there. But if you are "in line," then it might be understandable.

Congratulations! I didn't think European delivery was available for the S5 yet?

Congrats! I love the S5. That would have been my car except I needed a 4 door.

The S5 isn't listed for EU delivery but Audi will do it if you ask. I had to ask. They told me 9 months however I'm sure it will be less but I'm in no rush.

Audi Magnetic Ride Suspension

I can't decide if I want another interior trim other than the standard stainless steel, maybe carbon fiber, but I just don't care that much.

It has an MSRP of right about $58k but I will get a 5% discount going with the EU delivery program; all of which I will use to fund the pickup trip! I will be leasing it and the current residual for a 36mo, 15k mile a year deal is 55% with a money factor of .00269. I was fairly surprised considering it is for a car in such high demand.

It is just so beautiful. I can't wait. The only downside is I can't change the transmission choice now and while I am a die-hard manual driver I don't mind the newer automatics with tiptronic and paddle shifters. Oh well... it is a heavy clutch but that means I'll be getting a work out.

Pardon, but which dealer in Sacramento did you ask? I would like to go there to speak to them about doing the same thing. As a matter of fact, if you have the name of the person who processed the paperwork for you that would be great!

I tried to walk into the Stevens Creek Audi dealership to inquire about the EU delivery program for the S5 and was promptly told they do not have it for the A5/S5 range. I checked the audi website and the A5/S5 range was not on that list either. I'm glad to hear someone got their S5 at the factory and had a great time doing so.

I'm new to this forum and am interested in leasing an S5 for work. Thank you much!

Congrats! Great choice. Do you mind telling what your lease payment is going to be?
