Just got back from the dealer. I ordered and Ice Silver 2.0T Quattro sedan with premium package. No pricing was available so I may add a few more things when pricing does get released. The order guide was identical to the one posted on these forums. Anyone have a picture of the ten spoke wheels that come with the premium package on the car? I saw them on the UK site but I want to see them with a view of the whole car.

Congratulations. Looking forward to these cars hitting the lot, and these forums.

Are you, or will you, be getting rid of an older Audi?

^^
Nope they let me extend mine for a whole year until the B8 comes out.

Not sure if I am going to get an B8 Avant or turn it in for a different Audi. I really want to get more power this time and DSG.

Peace

I am pretty sure that you can extend it up to 6 months without any new purchase/lease.

You can see a 360° view on the German Audi web site:
http://www.audi.de/audi/de/de2/neuwagen/a4/limousine/galerie/360_aussenansicht.html

For the view, you can select Farbe/Eissilber Metallic, and Felgen/Aluminium Gussräder 8J x 17 im 10-Speicher-Stern-Design. I assume those are same wheels.

Not bad looking.

You went for the Tiptronic? I'm still waiting for word when the 6sp manual is going to be available in the U.S.

Premium Package too. And Ice Silver Metallic. [up]

I too extended my lease with the thought/plan of trading it in for an A5 or new A4. Decided to buy an oldie for now, and see how the new A4 leases later this year. I'm going to miss my B7, but am really looking forward to the B8.

Do they have the titanium package as an option still?

OK, how do you order a car without even knowing how much you're going to be paying?

Seriously... I had a B7 Special Edition on factory-order because of the options I wanted, but Audi cancelled the order because B7's aren't rolling off the Ingolstadt line any more. I'm being made the offer that they can get me a new "similarly equipped" B8 "for a similar price," which sounds pretty good. but I'm not sure I want to order before knowing prices for sure.

Did they give you an "escape clause"?

Basically, he put in a pre-order (I did the same) where nothing is final until both parties have agreed to final pricing. Hopefully pricing is released soon so production can begin!

yea. I planned on getting manual, but I really need the car right at launch because I'm going to need a car when I go back to school in late august. I have tip in the b7 and am pretty happy with it. not too bummed out. plus the "new" tip should be fun.

What time frame did the dealer specify for the pricing and delivery? Someone in another thread mentioned that only the 3.2 would be available initially which I also heard but kind of ignored after reading this thread, now I'm not so sure. I want a B8 pretty bad but it isn't my only choice, if Audi doesn't plan to release the 2.0T this year I will just go for a beamer.

I was told "end of summer" (i.e., late August/Mid September) and its for a 2.0T Quattro...

The order guide was identical to the one posted on these forums.

I too just placed my order for a new A4. However, the order sheet my dealer had was slightly different from the one posted on this forum. The posted sheet shows three trim levels, called "standard", "Premium" and "premium plus". The dealer's sheet also had three levels, but called them "premium", "premium plus" and "prestige". Content of the three levels was identical respectively, but the difference in terminology caused us some confusion as we spoke on the phone. We finally got it all straightened out though.

Checked mine again. Had standard, premium and premium plus. I guess prestige sounds a little better than just plus.

Base price and option prices will be similar to B7, they have to be to stay competitive. The 2.0T will be available at launch. My dealer says they will have demos available in August and deliverable cars in mid-late September, including Avants.
