recently took my 2000.5 s4 for sevice at the downtown la audi dealership. they replaced the coolant tank since they said there was a crack. soon after the coolant tank indicator light would flash. i called them up and asked them what was going on and they replied " just an electrical problem, if the coolant level is fine. " which it was.
when i visited the bay area i took it to a dealership up there and they took a look. they told me there's a sensor that should be connected underneath the tank. However, not only was there one not there, there also was a cut wire in the vicinity?
2 wks pass and the really strange thing is that now the coolant indicator light does not blink anymore!
any ideas would be much appreciated. dont know much about cars and certainly dont trust the dealerships. thanks
