We now have a 5 chip version of the GIAC Flashloader software for the S4 4.2L V8! You have the option of Pump gas, Race gas, Stock, Valet and kill modes. No soldering required!! Leave your ECU in the car and just bring the whole car. Only takes about 20 mins. GIAC is receiving the handheld units daily trying to keep up with demand for these cool little doodads. Gains on Pump gas are ~17hp and ~23 ft/lbs at the crank. With our intake, we gained an additional ~12hp. Very smooth chip. Goes great with downpipes for more gains. I will get some dyno plots up later. I'm not at the shop right now. [:D]

Any chance of sending the ECU in if we're not local and what's the pricing on this going to be?

Picing will be $595 for the chip. $50 for Stock mode, $100 for Race fuel mode, and $100 for Kill and Valet together. The handheld units will be $150. You can also use your VAG-COM cable as well with a program that's free off of GIAC's website.
