I'm just curious. What dealers do you guys go to, if you do take them their. And does anyone have any retard stories they would like to share?
Oh heres one. I never went to downtown fine cars for this:
I had a problem with my break system once. The ABS was kicking in a little too soon. Or it was just too sensitive.
It took the tech(the Master Tech their) about 25 minutes in a test drive with me to finally get it and they took the car in the shop. They came back with an estimate of somthing like $1250 for four new abs sensors all around.......WOW.
I didn't fix it right away, but I ended up doing the right rear wheel bearing the next week. My current mechanic (an independant guy) goes, hey look, you have a broken wheel speed sensor. This is the part that the abs sensor reads.
The fix was under 200 bucks. And it fixed it. The fking dealer would have made me pay over a $1000 FOR NOTHING.
That was it for me. That dealer is now only for Parts and S4 watching. Oh, ya did I say parts? There's a guy that used to be there that reminded me of that dude from Meet the Parents that works at the variety store. "Why don't you just buy a bunch of Mum's".

I live in Brampton but I won't mention any names.... cough !bramgate.... they wanted $500 to 600 bones to replace my heated seat element. I fixed it myself for about $5... Although I broke it again when I kneeled on it recently. Plus the service manager there is just an ass. He treats you like your inferior and I hate that. I walked up to his office, he smiled at me, proceeded to call his wife or girlfriend and talk for a bit. When he got off of the phone he looked at me, got up and walked past me and left for about ten minutes then came back and asked if he could help me. I was pissed and told him I would never be back because of him.... I don't think he cared though.

I go to Glenmore Audi in Calgary. So far they have been a disapointment. When I first got the car, I complain about the air leak around the buttons and holes on the doors. It took them two tries to tell me that this is normal. Last time, I wanted autolocking and window down with remote, they told me the ECU only has enough "memory" to hold one function. Oh, I was pissed. Not to mention that they are overcharging for everything. I am actually do more on this car than any other cheaper car that I have ever owned, i.e. tire rotations (39.95 at the dealer, Honda wanted 10 for the same thing). When the car runs out of warrenty, I am going to consider selling because of the dealer not because I don't want to car. It's not for another 3 years, we will see how it goes.

Agincourt - had to convince the service dept that there was something seriously wrong with my car (spun crankshaft bearing), but the sales manager there I give him two thumbs up, and the service dept. hasn't been all that bad after (they did replace my radio on the spot without question) and never had to go to them for any other surprise problem/issue.
The master tech at Oakville is supposively the best in Canada, and I think he came in second for North America in the master tech competition that Audi has each year.

also curious to hear about mod friendly dealers especially in the GTA?

It really depends on how well you know the service manager. Some have said dealer x aren't mod friendly while another would say yes that dealer is mod friendly.

The service manager at agincourt is my buddy not that I knew him before, but he treated me so nicely for services and "so often for the freaking ecu problem" that I became buddies with the guy. This guy is wicked~! He offers great service to all customers. and is willing to go throught th problem with you, and updates you every day on how the car is. His name is Jamel and if you need to go there, look for him and tell him that you are Coleman's forum friends or just" friends" I am pretty sure he will listen to what everything you have to say and treat you nicely.. and plus few of the mechanics in agincourt are dicks and some are awesome, (plus they know I have my car mod and still offer full warranty)

agincourt has mixed blessings in my book, i have had good experiences with them as far as like mods go, i come in with my body kit and what not, and they wont give it a 2nd thought even tho its leased, but then again when i got them to change my tires from winter to summer it took them 2 days

Ah another reason why I change my own tires... know it's gonna be done right and don't have to lug the tires back and forth....
