The new A4/S4 (http://www.fourtitude.com/features/special_features/b7.html)
I'm starting to warm up to the exterior - which grew in size by a bit and it does look a little bit more aggressive than the previous version in my opinion. The steering wheel will take a while to get use to I think but overally I'm pretty happy with the new design. The 2.0T is a nice addition now (doesn't replace the 1.8T) and it brings down the 0-60 to 7.3 seconds now. quattro is available from the start also rather than it coming months after like the A3 that is to come this May.
Sport seats are mentioned - I'm doubtful that these will be available in Canada as usual (grumble grumble grumble).

I'm not minding the photos, especially the big press release article shots. Some of those floating around before were hard to judge, but I'm liking things so far. If its anything like the A6, the front will look much better in person because I wasn't sure on the big grille but seeing it in person at Pfaff a month ago it really looked good.
So when will these hit showrooms? Will you be going for the 2.0T Mike?

Nah I think I'll go for the S4... oh wait, that was just a dream!
I'm gonna go for the 2.0T, seems like a healthy upgrade in power. Reaction on the fourtitude forum is leaning to the negative side. Some say the B6 is perfect though I disagree and still majority of the B5'ers never did like the B6 initially and it took a while for them to warm up to the B6 and the same again for this one.

Yup, I remember all the bashing of the B6 design, and how happy everyone was of the B5. Sure it will be the same, they'll see them on the roads, then people will mod them, then they will own it.
That should be a nice ride, so whens the order go in so its a smooth transition from one to the other?

Well they Agincourt said I need to put in the order at least four months prior to my lease ending in May, so that makes it around December/January. probably send in the order in December.

Yep, I'm going for it. Not sure what the price will be but I'm thinking there will be a small increase from the previous year.
Failed to notice this morning that the 2.0T has dual intercoolers, and word is on the street that it's using a Garrett turbocharger.
So basically the new A4 looks like a bit of a Subarish (lights), tail looks like a Civic but rounder, the overall shape of the front reminds me of a Nissan Sentra. Ah it's a car that everybody will like haha.

I really like the 2.0T FSI model. However, I would wait for the second model year after they work out all the problems. This new FSI technology seem to be really interesting and it's the new way to go with Audi.

Yah I might not have that option as my lease ends next year. Hopefully the early adopters in the UK - as they start to get this in Jan 2005 - will work out the kinks for us.
The 2.0T FSI gets about 36.6mpg combined, which is pretty good. I managed to get around 30mpg if I recall correctly, if I was really light on the throttle just on the highway.
