Long... but please read... I need feedback!
Hey all... as mentioned in a previous thread... I am a new S4 owner. I just bought it because I love the functionability of the car in the Michigan weather... with great performance to go with!
I am currently co-owner of Jsep Productions Jsep Productions (http://www.jsep.tv) (I work at First Horizon temporarily too... productions costs don't always pay for themselves! [:D] [;)]. I currently own this S4 and a 2002 S2000... and I really love the S4...
But... the one great thing about owning an S2000... is they have a VERY tight knit club (between s2000 club of america and s2000 club international). ...and I'm not finding this for Audi.
With the S2000, there are about 5 or so major meets per year ranging from Pennsylvania, to Tennessee, Northern Michigan, Colorado and California. The biggest being in Pennsylvania.
I personally am a community organizer for the Midwest... and am the founder/director of the FreshWater Tour in Mich (see link to trailor below if you'd like! [;)] ...this meet has created a strong interest with Speed TV due to the national sponsorship involved (Bridgestone, American Honda, Tirerack, etc...)
Speed TV is attempting to pilot a new series based on real-life interactions with auto enthusiast and owners at large national events and tours... They basically want to create an MTV true life for the car enthusiast! Following a few story lines per vehicle tour... and hosting it on air... to give a different perspective as to why some people get so "into" their cars!! (for the S2000- many seriously own it ONLY because of the people they've met! You'll hear this over and over- many say they would have moved on by now otherwise! [;)]
So to make a long story short... I'm having diffaculty finding one particular "club" for the S4 or associated Audi/VW cars. I found many websites with generic chat (this being the most organized so far)... but that is it!?
Does a large capacity tour, exclusive to Audi exist?? [confused] (the Fall colors tour in Pennsylvania- the source of the shoot for the pilot- will have approx. 200+ S2000's present)
We currently have workings with the Corvette and Mustang clubs for the next shoots... but being a new owner... I'd definately LOVE to catch the essence of this vehicle too!!
