ok, well just confirmed with an insider that these are indeed only test veh. for the u.s. and that the exhaust for the 2.0t will have single with dual tips and the v6 will have dual exhausts. don't ask me why, i just asked him. as for the headlights, hid's are standard. i guess they are testing suspension and emissions and should be ready to go in the fall. sorry people for those wanting dual exhausts.

What are the chances of HID's actually becoming a standard option in the US. The A5 doesn't have HID's standard. I'm not trying to doubt your source (and I really hope they are standard) but do you guys think this is really possible?

We already saw pics of the A4 in Cali without HIDs...
