Hey there.
My dad is turning 50, and every time he turns a multiple of 10 (20,30,40,50) he buys a new super car to mod.
We've called a few places around SD, OC, and LA, and no one really has the one were looking for. we want preferably white, second would be the gray- R-Tronic and all the works. i just wanted to list this just incase if you knew anyone selling, or a shop that might have it.
Thanks!!

YES, now we will just have to see if the dealer is honorable. The GT-R can't be bought anywhere at MSRP that I have found, however my dealers has stated mine will be MSRP. Time will tell.

is the GTR fully loaded or not? My local Nissan dealer said they did not accept orders because they didn't even know when it will come.

First US deliveries will occur in June. Only dealers that signed up for the GT-R will be allowed to sell and then the dealer principal or GM/Sales Mgr MUST complete the transaction, no general salesman will be allow to complete the order. Dealer size & volume will determine actual # of allocation units. There is a very real chance early orders will not be filled exactly as ordered, maybe a different color.
There are two trim levels, one at $69+K and the other at $71+K. One color called Magnetic Silver is a $3K option and very few units will have this paint. The dealers really can't order specific units, per si, however they will pull from a pool of cars to fill their orders. Supposed to be 1,500 units the first year and about the same in 2009. Most of the dealers are looking for $100K out of each allocation and the car is not worth that kind of money. I think the bubble will burst very early in the GT-R life cycle.

Thank you for your info. I am not in the market for a GTR, at least not this year; but good to know how does the GTR orders work and the price.

I saw an unsold Avus R8 at Pacific today. It didn't have R-tronic but it was a beauty. I actually prefer the gated manual tranny.
Ask for Amir, he sold me my RS4. Great guy to deal with.
