Well I went to the Hookstown Fair on friday night. Its a real Hick Fest in the middle of no where. Demo derby and animal auctions. Stupid games and lots of trashy hicks. All in all it is usually a good time. I always get a laugh at the people out there. Anyway you pretty much just park in a field so I find a space inbetween about 4 or 5 big 4x4 trucks. There is a little dip about 4ft wide of mud you have to cross to get into the space but the actuall parking space looks grassy and fine. So what the heck...the car is do for a wash anyway. Well I pul in and make it through the mud fine but it turns out that the grass was just a cover over a super muddy mess. I bottomed out and was spinnig a little. I was all the way in the space and figured i can't leave it here cause it will probably sink more. Plus I don't want to get out into the mud and then track it back inside the car later. So i back out. Suprisingly it came out pretty easy. Quattro is awesome. Luckily I don't have a suspension yet(I would have never tried it if i did). I was impressed with the tires though. I have continental extreme contact. They are pretty much brand new so I think that helped. But anyway. After I got out the ruts I left were about 8 inches deep and filling with water. Definately pretty happy i got out of there. She was all muddy. The wheels were totally covered in mud. But she is all clean now.
Well I guess I will see if I can get her stuck on the beach next week.
