APR claims 318 hp / 382lb ft lb of torque using 93 octane gas...how true is that....anybody running their chips??? what is your feedback of their ECUs??

How much faster would it be stock vs stage one, lets say 1/4 mile times and HP/Torque comparisons...

thanks

i'm on their 91 program and it is a night and day difference when compared to stock. of course APR is prolly the least aggressive but it is really smooth. other chips i would consider would be ABT/AMS, GIAC, or Neuspeed.

I think they are pretty close on it, especially on Version 5.0. I like it. I have the 93, 100 and stock programs.

if you want smooth apr, if you want seat of the pants go giac. stay the **** away from the neuspeed chip!!

i run a loaded apr and i am always on the 93 program, big difference. i do run the 100 program when the weather is right or i haev a reason to and that will make you about shit your pants compared to stock. seriously nice improvement. and the security lockout is dope as well. if you just happen to be on an mbox let me know maybe we can work out a sale or trade. i want the giac cause i am moving to k04-k16 hybrids here soon enough.

Dropped my APR chip in today.
I have the stock/91/93 programs.

I find the 91 to be much smoother than the 93. car hauls! what a change!

When I was bone stock, I ran 14.1 @ 98mph. With just chip, pump gas, lowered suspensions and 19" wheels, I ran 13.4s @ 103. Probably could have dipped into the 13.3s or 13.2s with some lighter wheels like SSR comps.

Remember though, results may vary. Depends on car, driver skill, track conditions, etc.

Can you notice a differnce between 91 and 93? Thats wierd that it has both programs on there. If you just had 93 and stock would you complain about it not being smooth or is it just because you had 91 and its smoother with close to the same power?

I'm just asking cause ups is bringin an ECU with just the APR 93 octane chip to my house tuesday.
